- How frequently should we have our machine inspected?
We recommend an annual inspection program.
- When should we have our machine inspected?
At least 8—12 weeks before your outage to allow for ordering and delivery of critical parts which could be identified during the inspection.
- Why do Dumper End Rings distort?
Because of excessive weight and accidents.
- Why do Dumper End Rings crack?
Because of excessive weight, accidents or damaged or loose rail.
- Can we have some "free" Steeler tickets?
- Can we get detailed drawings? We have an emergency?
We make every effort to help you in any way possible during emergency, however our corporate policy is not to give out detailed drawings.
- Why aren't standard parts on stock for the machines?
Because each machine is built to the customer's individual specs, which leaves very few standard parts.
- Can my End Rings be straightened after being hit by a train?
No.
- Are we the only customers to crash a train into our dumper?
No.
- How long should trunnions last on my dumper?
How long should trunnions last on my dryer?
How long should my rotary shell tires last?
How long should the rail on my dumper last?
This depends upon maintenance and the workload. A preventative maintenance program, annual inspection and the overall condition of the equipment can all greatly effect the life of the equipment.
